142 - Rule Of Law: A Criminal Investigation Of The Bush Administration's Torture Program Is Legally Required

It's an open-and-shut case -- no discretion, no wiggle-room, no if's, and's or but's: the Obama administration is legally compelled to investigate the Bush administration, from George W. Bush on down, for the crime of commission of torture.

This is the case despite the contrary analysis of that eminent legal scholar, Bill O'Reilly.

For the facts and laws upon which I base my conclusion, please listen to the podcast.

(PS: Right-wingers, if you want to write in to me, fine, but at least do me the courtesy of listening to the podcast first. Please don't respond just on the basis of the brief preview above. Thanks!!)

Love the transcripts! But I won't hold my breath for investigations of war crimes...I'm a hopeful person, but I hope I'm not naive.

    Excuse me but, so what?

The Obama administration has nothing to lose by not pursuing the crimes of the previous administration. I mean, what do you think you're going to do about it? Vote republican?

Didn't Vincent Bugliosi already make this case?

Anyway, they'll do what "progressives" always do, Alan - write their congresscritter and forget about it.
