127 - A Torrent Of Additional Evidence Of Right-Wing Torture-Mongering / Dick Morris Lies About Democratic Tax Plans

Today, you'll hear a torrent of new evidence that's just come out which further details the Bush administration's torture regime. You'll learn about the self-styled "War Council," Bush's use of Communist Chinese torture techniques, vehement protests by the military's own lawyers, hiding the abuse from the Red Cross, and, recent medical findings of marks of torture on detainee's bodies.

In a concluding QuickBlast, you'll hear Dick Morris serially lie about Democratic tax plans, and learn how to respond to any right-winger spouting similar nonsense.

(PS: Right-wingers, if you want to write in to me, fine, but at least do me the courtesy of listening to the podcast first. Please don't respond just on the basis of the brief preview above. Thanks!!)

I guess ChickenHammer didn't get much of a laugh out of this episode. This is stuff I've been watching for a long time. Nothing I wasn't already aware of, but a nice compilation of recent (mostly ignored) events. Keep up the good work Jack!

  2. I'm sorry to disappoint you anonymous but I haven't had a chance to listen to the podcast yet. It is my preference to listen to the podcast before leaving a comment. Thanks for your understanding. :)

I don't think ChickenHammer really listened to the podcasts before he posted previous comments - they didn't seem to agree on the facts.

Jack points out the overwhelming public disapproval of giving control of the oil industry to foreign corporations (and quick research shows Iraqis are very much against this). He highlights some failed back-room attempts to bypass the public unnoticed.

Then ChickenHammer seems to believe the public WANT these deals they keep rejecting.

The comment prior wasn't as specific, but I really don't see where he could disagree with the facts of the podcast. As he did not ever clarify, so I am left to assume his criticism was based on the podcast title.
