Today, you'll hear how the multinational oil companies have taken another step towards stealing Iraq's oil.
The very companies Iraq took the oil back from 36 years ago, are now being invited back in, by the US-propped-up Iraqi government.
In the second segment, you'll get some great public opinion stats on the hottest issues, guaranteed to demoralize your right-wing friends and acquaintances.
The June Rasmussen poll of the top ten issues on the electorate's mind, found that the Democrats are trusted more than the Republicans on every single one.
Every single one.
Listen to the podcast for details on both stories.
(PS: Right-wingers, if you want to write in to me, fine, but at least do me the courtesy of listening to the podcast first. Please don't respond just on the basis of the brief preview above. Thanks!!)

Ah the irony of it all. I was sitting at the Honda dealer getting my new Civic it's first oil change. As I sat down in the waiting room with a fresh cup of coffee I put on my iPod and started listening to episode 126 of Blast the Right.
ReplyDeleteI bought the Civic to save money on gas. The Civic gets about three times the mileage as my truck so now my truck sits in my garage unless I'm doing something that requires a truck.
Now what is the problem with the Iraqi's selling off the rights to their oil? And what again is the problem with letting the Iraqi's do what they want with their oil? Who are we to question the decisions made by the Iraqi's regarding what they do with their oil?
I haven't given you an iTunes review yet as I still haven't figured out the true intent of your show.
Are you for real or is this some sort of satirical takeoff?
